Research and Teaching

Kentland farm is utilized for research and teaching purposes by faculty members in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences and by 12 departments in other colleges at Virginia Tech. Groups include the following:

• Homefield Farm (Dining Services farm at Kentland)
• Virginia Tech Dairy Science Complex — Kentland Farm
• Department of Horticulture
• Department of Crop and Soil Environmental Sciences
